Corporate Social Responsibility
We promote active involvement in the wider community, and fully support staff in their pursuits of charitable fund raising and contributions to external associations and societies.
We have actively supported the major UK charity, The Lord’s Taverners for many years. This charity supports disadvantaged and disabled children in the UK through access to sport and other activities. As well as offering financial support to the charity, one of Denton’s Directors sits on a regional committee for the charity.
We also support the ‘Dallaglio Foundation’ which works with young people who have been excluded from mainstream education in the UK, and aims to get them back on track and potentially ‘work ready’
Denton are also working alongside Wrekin College in Shropshire, in supporting the development of a new business school in order to broaden the horizons and exposure of ‘real business’ into the mainstream curriculum for the pupils.
We employ a high proportion of professionally chartered individuals. A further contribution back to these institutions is the active involvement of one of Denton’s Directors who is an examiner for the RICS.
We strive to reduce the impact of our projects on the community, and the environmental impact of our sites. We work hard to ensure these locations are a safe place to work for all. This is reflected in our excellent accident record.
Our aim is for the positive attributes of our CSR to influence our staff, our clients and our supply chain.
