The client appointed a professional team comprised of an Architect, Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor and Services consultant. Denton Associates immediate team comprised of a Project Director, Project Manager, Senior Designer and Technical Services Manager and Site Manager who collaborated with the professional team throughout the preconstruction and construction project processes.
Concept architectural and engineering strategies were prepared by the clients team. These were reviewed and developed into detailed construction designs by Denton Associates. Designs were reviewed from an architectural, aesthetic, technical and logistical perspective. Opportunities for value engineering were considered at all stages. Examples included the selection and specification of suspended ceiling and glazed partition systems.
Technical submission documents for key elements of the project were prepared by Denton Associates and shared with the client for review and approval. Technical submittals were assigned A, B or C status.
Denton Associates additionally supported Aegon with the landlord technical review and Licence to Alter process. Effective communication was essential throughout the project due to a proportion of the client team were located remotely from London. The project team communicated using a variety of methods including on site project meetings, email, telephone, video conferencing and detailed project reporting prepared by Denton Associates.
We have developed a strong working relationship with Aegon through our proactive, consistent and coordinated project team delivery approach which has resulted in an additional fit out project for them.
