We are delighted to announce that our design and fit out of LinkedIn’s London office has been shortlisted by the FX International Interior Design Awards 2016, in the UK Project of the Year category.
Our team are excited to be nominated in one of the highest categories for the 70,000 sq ft project. The project has many different themed meeting rooms and breakout areas that create an immersive working environment. This reflects LinkedIn and Great Britain’s diverse culture whilst providing a workspace that the employees can find engaging, efficient and can be proud of.
The community ethos that LinkedIn achieve has been transferred into their working environment. Their social media presence is clear evidence of this, with people coming to their London office and seeing it as an iconic landmark. There are hundreds of photos online of people taking a selfie with the red phone box, sitting in the umpire’s chair in the Wimbledon room or entering the wardrobe to the Narnia room.
Throughout the 12 month process, we applied an unprecedented attention to detail such as bespoke light fittings, joinery items and integrating the LinkedIn brand. We took a hands on approach where possible to ensure the our design intent was achieved. This ranged from our designers cross-stitching on their morning commute to applying a thousand pin badges to an acoustic wall.
